MINI TRAIN DESIGNERS
Build your own little wooden locomotive! Paint and decorate it as you like. Learn why the railway was so important for industry and take your masterpiece home with you at the end. A creative adventure for little engineers!
FOUNDRY ACTION: FROM YOUR OWN CREATIONS

Experience the hard everyday life of a miner! Carry heavy stones, weigh them and fight for fair pay, just like the miners used to do. Discover the challenges and working conditions of the past. A strenuous adventure that brings history to life!
FOSSIL HUNTING
With protective goggles, gloves and a hammer, we search for fossilized treasures. Learn more about the geological history and why the south of Luxembourg is named after a special rock. It will be exciting!
EMBOSSING STATION
In the past, miners were given a token, which they handed in after work. At the end of your adventure, you can learn more about it and make your very own token. Learn how to emboss and take a little piece of history home with you as a souvenir.

How to get there
There is a number of parking spots on-site but we would appreciate if you parked your car in the city center of Esch-sur-Alzette and used public transportation to come to the Ellergronn. All relevant information can be found below:
